John is a high-end Lighting Designer and Vision Engineer, based in Ireland. He is particularly known for his work as a television Lighting Director, Programmer and Vision Engineer. John has a wealth of experience, having worked on productions on every terrestrial television station available in Ireland.

John has recently returned from T in the Park in Kinross, Scotland. John was Lighting Director for BBC Three and BBC Scotland coverage presented by Edith Bowman and Reggie Yeats.
Meanwhile in Galway John had designed lighting for Bean an Tí sa Chistin - a new cookery series for TG4 which he called on the talents of Joe Breslin (Solas Alba) to cover while he was in Scotland.

This is the well recognised as the leading edge in CAD and visualisation software specifically for the lighting industry.
Having opted for the full spec "Perform" system we can now create stunning lighting designs for any type of production and use the software generate all relevant reports and paperwork as well as visualise exactly what the show will look like in reality. It also allows us to connect lighting consoles to the system so that shows can be almost completely pre-programmed before arriving on site.
